The islands off Scotland’s west coast are awash with mountains, moor, machair and white sandy beaches. With fascinating history, Gaelic heritage and culture, spectacular wildlife and a warm Hebridean welcome, they are an island paradise off our own shores. Discover a slice of heaven on this panoramic voyage.
Tuesday 30th June
Our week began in Oban, where guests stepped aboard before we slipped away to anchor overnight in Bloody Bay off the Isle of Mull — a peaceful spot, whatever its Viking-era name suggests.

Wednesday 1st July
Wednesday brought walks on the Isle of Eigg, beneath the great prow of An Sgùrr, followed by an afternoon in Plockton, where palm trees line the shore of Loch Carron. We stayed at anchor in the bay overnight.

Thursday 2nd July
On Thursday morning guests visited Eilean Donan Castle from Kyle of Lochalsh, before sailing the Sound of Raasay whilst enjoying a delicious seafood buffet lunch.

The afternoon was spent at the Shiant Isles, where puffins, guillemots and razorbills wheeled above the basalt cliffs in their thousands.

That evening we berthed in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, with entertainment in the Lounge to round off the day.

Friday 3rd July
Friday was devoted to ancient Lewis: the Callanish Standing Stones — older than Stonehenge — and Dun Carloway Broch in the morning, then a choice of the Lews Castle Museum, home to several Lewis Chessmen, or exploring Stornoway at leisure.

We remained alongside for a second night.
Saturday 4th July
Saturday morning we cruised The Minch, eyes peeled for dolphins and minke whales, reaching Dunvegan on Skye by afternoon to visit Dunvegan Castle & Gardens, seat of Clan MacLeod for 800 years. Some guests took the small boat to view the resident seal population.

We anchored overnight off Lochboisdale, South Uist.
Sunday 5th July
Sunday belonged to the southern outer isles — Eriskay in the morning, of ‘Whisky Galore’ fame, and the Kildonan Museum in the afternoon — before anchoring off the Isle of Canna.

Monday 6th July
Our final day began with walks on Canna and a visit to Canna House, with its world-renowned archive of Gaelic song, then an afternoon ashore on the dramatic Isle of Rum.

A last night at anchor in Oban Bay brought us home, and on Tuesday 7th July we bade our guests farewell after a week of standing stones, sea cliffs, castles and island welcomes.
Tuesday 7th July
We hope all our guests enjoyed their Hebridean Panorama, and we look forward to welcoming you on board for your own Hebridean adventure very soon.
