After ascending the spectacular series of eight interconnected locks of Neptune’s Staircase, we arrive at Gairlochy to observe the unforgettable Commando Memorial.

Continuing along the canal, through the spectacular tree-lined Laggan Avenue, Fort Augustus is calling. From here we explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle to discover 1,000 years of drama, experience a glimpse of medieval life and appreciate stunning views over Loch Ness.
