Tuesday 30th September to Tuesday 7th October
Scotland is home to the greatest concentration of whisky production in the world and many distilleries are also producing their own gin. Visiting a distillery allows you to indulge your passion for these spirits and meet the people that have helped to shape these iconic products.
Tuesday 30th September
After spending the day in Oban conducting passenger embarkation we sailed to our overnight anchorage in Bloody Bay off the Isle of Mull.
Wednesday 1st October
Ashore on the Isle of Mull after breakfast, guests visited Tobermory Distillery for a tour and tasting of this artisan distillery which has been crafting peated and unpeated whiskies since 1798.


During lunch we sailed into Glenmore Bay for the afternoon tour of Ardnamurchan Distillery, Scotland’s greenest distillery.


Later we sailed around Ardnamurchan Point, through the Sound of Sleat and Kyle Rhea to our overnight anchorage in Kyle of Lochalsh.
Thursday 2nd October
This morning, guest speaker Jim Allan presented the first of his talks in the Tiree Lounge. After lunch, guests visited the iconic Eilean Donan Castle.




We berthed alongside in Kyle of Lochalsh overnight and local entertainment was enjoyed after dinner.
Friday 3rd October
Guests travelled to Attadale Gardens for a guided tour, conducted by owner Joanna MacPherson.












Following lunch on board, guests visited the Broadford Distillery for a whisky and gin tasting.



We remained alongside in Kyle of Lochalsh overnight and local entertainment was enjoyed after dinner.
Saturday 4th October
After an on board quiz with guide Pat and a visit to the Kyle Station Museum, guests spent the afternoon exploring Plockton on foot.



We remained alongside overnight in Kyle of Lochalsh.
Sunday 5th October
We spent the day at sea, sailing on passage towards our overnight berth in Oban. Guest speaker Jim Allan gave the second of his talks in the Tiree Lounge during the day.
Monday 6th October
Ashore in Oban, guests had the opportunity to visit Dunstaffnage Castle or explore the town independently.






Jim Allan gave the last of his talks and a whisky tasting in the Tiree Lounge after lunch.
The Farewell Gala Dinner was held alongside in Oban where we remained overnight.
Tuesday 7th October
Guests disembarked after breakfast and we wish them all a safe onward journey.
