Early summer temperatures have soared across much of the UK and Europe this year. Scotland has enjoyed its share of warm, sunny days and blue skies while escaping the scorching heat seen elsewhere — much to the relief of guests cruising in more temperate conditions.
As Hebridean Princess prepares to depart for her adventures in the far north of Orkney and Shetland, Lord of the Highlands has just returned from a brief sojourn among the far-flung islands of the Orkney archipelago and is savouring a return to the familiar waters of the Caledonian Canal. On pages 10 and 11, we introduce one of her Masters, Captain Jill Radanke.
