Situated close to Mull’s easternmost point, Craignure is a small village and the main ferry port from the mainland. The first landmark that comes into view on the journey over from Oban is the dramatic Duart Castle. The 13th century ancestral home of the Clan MacLean stands magnificently on its outcrop of rock near the very easternmost tip of Mull.
