Wednesday 3rd to Wednesday 10th September 2025

Just off the Cornish coast lies England’s enchanting archipelago, the Isles of Scilly. Like a cluster of precious jewels, these islands guarantee a magical, unforgettable experience. A natural wonder where nature thrives and life moves at an easier pace.

Wednesday 3rd September

Guests were welcomed on board in Portland by the fabulous Decadette singers and were treated to spectacular gun salute by the Northe Fort Artillery.

We remained alongside in Portland overnight.

Thursday 4th September

Today was spewnt cruising the Jurassic Coast on passage towards Dartmouth and our overnight anchorage on buoys in River Dart where the Welcome Gala reception and dinner were held.

Friday 5th September

After breakfast, guests disembarked for the morning tour of the Britannia Royal Naval College to discover 150 years of maritime history and heritage.

In the afternoon, guests boarded the local ferry to visit Greenway House, the favourite summer retreat of Agatha Christie.

We sailed overnight on passage towards the Isles of Scilly.

Saturday 6th September

This morning a local boat tendered guests ashore on Tresco to explore the island independently or visit the sub-tropical oasis of Tresco Abbey Gardens, home to thousands of exotic plants.

Following lunch on board, the local boat departed and landed guests ashore to explore St. Mary’s on a walk with a local guide.

We sailed overnight on passage towards Wales, anchoring overnight at Covelly, Cornwall.

Sunday 7th September

Today was spent cruising the north coast of Cornwall and the Bristol Channel, past Lundy Island on passage towards Swansea, Wales where we berthed alongside overnight.

Monday 8th September

This morning a coach departed from the ship to take guests on the “Richard Burton Centenary tour” in Pontrhydyfen with local guide Griff Harries.

After returning to the ship for lunch, guests enjoyed an afternoon tour to Mumbles, Oystermouth Castle, the Welsh Lovespoon Gallery and Bracelet Bay for spectacular views of the lighthouse.

After dinner local entertainment was provided in the Tiree Lounge by The Louis & Ella Music Show, the duets recorded by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, with the Oscar Peterson Quartet.  

We remained alongside in Swansea overnight.

Tuesday 9th September

The morning was spent discovering the National Waterfront Museum which tells the story of industry and innovation in Wales, now and over the last 300 years.

Our final excursion was to Bannau Brycheiniog for a scenic ride on the historic Brecon Mountain Railway steam train.

The Farewell Gala Dinners was held alongside in Swansea, Wales where we remained overnight.

Wednesday 10th September

Guests disembarked after breakfast in Swansea and we wish them all a safe onward journey.
