Tuesday 20th to Tuesday 27th May 2025
The mysterious archipelago of St Kilda, the UK’s only double UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies approximately 120 miles off the north west coast of mainland Scotland and was occupied by man in the harshest of conditions for 5,000 years until 1930.
Tuesday 20th May
When embarkation was complete, we departed from Oban and sailed around Ardnamurchan Point to our overnight anchorage in Glenmore Bay.

Wednesday 21st May
Our first port of call was the Ardnamurchan Distillery for a tour and tasting at Scotland’s greenest distillery.






During lunch we sailed to the Isle of Eigg for afternoon walks on the island.

We anchored overnight in Loch na Dal.
Thursday 22nd May
After spending the morning cruising the narrows at Kyle Rhea, under the Skye Bridge and the Inner Sound, guests were tendered ashore from Loch Ewe for the afternoon visit to Inverewe Garden where they were piped ashore.












We remained at anchor in Loch Ewe overnight.
Friday 23rd May
We arrived in Stornoway this morning where a coach was available to take guests on an island tour of Lewis, including Dun Carloway Broch and the Gearrannan Black House village.








In the afternoon, guests had the opportunity to visit Lews Castle museum or explore Stornoway independently before we set sail overnight on passage to St. Kilda.
Saturday 24th May
Arriving at St Kilda in the early morning, guests stepped ashore on the Island of Hirta, to esplore on foot the abandoned Village Bay.


















On departure, we cruised around the sea stacks of Stac Lee, Stac an Armin and Boreray before sailing the Atlantic and through the Sound of Harris on passage towards Ullapool where we remained alongside overnight.





Sunday 25th May
From Ullapool, our morning excursion was the box canyon of Corrieshalloch Gorge. Alternatively, guests could explore Ullapool independently.


After spending the afternoon relaxing on board as we sailed the Inner Sound, Kyle Rhea and under the Skye Bridge, we arrived at our overnight anchorage in Tobermory Bay.
Monday 26th May
Our final foray ashore was to enjoy morning walks ashore in Tobermory and explore the town, perhaps with a little retails therapy in the colourful shops which line the harbour.


We spent the afternoon cruising the Sound of Mull and Loch Linnhe on passage towards our overnight anchorage in Charlotte Bay where the farewell gala dinner was held.
Tuesday 27th May
After breakfast, guests disembarked in Oban and we wish them a safe onward journey.
