Tuesday 15th to Tuesday 22nd July 2025
The Highlands and Islands of Scotland are endowed with a rich Gaelic heritage of culture, folklore, crofting and cottage industry. Today, new artisan producers are reviving centuries old traditional skills and developing new trades to sustain local communities.
Tuesday 15th July
Guests were piped on board in Oban and we set sail for our overnight anchorage in Bloody Bay off the Isle of Mull.
Wednesday 16th July
Today was spent visiting the Small Isles. Ashore on the Isle of Eigg this morning, guests enjoyed walks on the island.





After lunch on board, the afternoon was spent exploring the Isle of Rum on foot. Refreshments were served ashore, with the option of a tot of Rum on Rum!







We anchored off the Isle of Canna overnight where the Welcome Gala reception was held out on the Skye Deck and guest Geoffrey Howland celebrated his birthday with a delicious cake.

















Thursday 17th July
Departing our overnight anchorage in the early morning, we cruised over The Minch on passage to the Uists. Guests went ashore at Lochboisdale, South Uist, for an island tour including the Kildonan Museum during the morning.



In the afternoon, guests embarked on a tour of Eriskay during the afternoon, for walks on the beach at Prince’s Bay, the very spot where Bonnie Prince Charlie first stepped onto British soil, and drinks at the Am Politician pub.












We anchored overnight off Dunvegan, Isle of Skye.
Friday 18th July
The Isle of Skye played host to our morning visit, a tour of the MacLeod stronghold of Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, occupied by the same family for over 800 years. Guests could also take a seal boat trip to observe the resident seal colony.







A maiden visit for Hebridean Princess guests this afternoon was the Skyeskyns Tannery at Stein, to see leather making in person at Scotland’s only sheepskin tannery.









We anchored overnight in East Loch Tarbert off the Isle of Harris.
Saturday 19th July
Ashore at Tarbert, guests enjoyed a morning tour and tasting the the Isle of Harris Distillery, a social distillery where local men and women are dedicated to making beautiful island spirits with pride and provenance.





A kaleidoscopic island tour during the afternoon included the stunning Horgabost beach and Harris Tweed.







We arrived and berthed alongside in Gairloch this evening where we remained overnight.
Sunday 20th July
After spending the the early morning cruising south on passage towards the Isle of Skye, guests stepped ashore at Portree, Isle of Skye, for a tour of the Trotternish Peninsula.




After returning to the ship for lunch, there was the opportunity for free time during the afternoon to go for walks in Portree independently.
We anchored overnight off the Isle of Muck where the gala reception was held outside on the Skye deck, accompanied by dolphins, rainbows and a spectacular sunset.



























Monday 21st July
Morning walks on the Isle of Muck were the order of the day.





After lunch, we anchored in Iona North where a local boat came alongside to take guests to visit the Isle of Staffa.







Our final overnight anchorage was in Charlotte Bay off the Isle of Kerrera which guards Oban Bay.
Tuesday 22nd July
Disembarkation took place after breakfast in Oban and we wish all our guests a safe onward journey.
