A taster of our regular ‘Footloose’ cruise adventures, this short is a tantalising blend of walks and visits that will appeal to all. Join our experienced walking guides to explore the unspoilt beauty of the Clyde estuary and its awe inspiring lochs or discover some hidden gems, charming villages and exotic gardens at a gentler pace.
Saturday 14th March
Guests were piped aboard in Greenock and we set sail in the early evening for our overnight anchorage in Rothesay, Isle of Bute.
Sunday 15th March
Ashore on Bute, the walkers strode out on the Rothesay and Canada Hill walk, whilst the strollers explored the town of Rothesay with its restored Victorian public conveniences.






During lunch we sailed to Custom House Quay in Greenock, for the afternoon visit to Ardgowan House. The walkers went for a guided walk on the Estate.

We sailed in the late afternoon, bound for Loch Fyne. We anchored overnight in Ardrishaig.
Monday 16th March
After steaming Loch Fyne during breakfast, the walkers were tendered ashore at Crarae Point for a full day walk in Furnace.












The strollers visited Crarae Gardens in the morning and spent the afternoon exploring Inveraray Jail.





We anchored overnight in Strachur.
Tuesday 17th March
Today the strollers visited Ardkinglas House in the morning and, after lunch on board, they discovered the 18th century mansion of Strachur House.



The walkers embarked on a full day walk in Glen Fyne with a packed lunch.







We remained at anchor overnight in Strachur, Loch Fyne.
Wednesday 18th March
After a realxing morning sail of Loch Fyne we arrived at Holy Loch.



In the afternoon, guests were tendered ashore at Holy Loch marina to visit Benmore Botanica Gardens or enjoy a final walk to Puck’s Glen.











The farewell gala dinner was held at anchor in Holy Loch where we remained overnight.
Thursday 19th March
We spent the day alongside at Greenock Ocean Cruise Terminal where disembarkation took place after breakfast.
