Clyde Coast Sampler

As we emerge from winter into spring, join us at the start of the 2026 season, exploring the beautiful Clyde coast, visiting spring gardens, a tiny cathedral and an island distillery. Cruising the sheltered waters of Loch Fyne, relish the tranquillity of this magical region from the warm comfort of the delightfully small Hebridean Princess.

Monday 2nd March

Embarkation took place at Greenock Ocean Cruise Terminal. Once all guests were safely on board we set sail for our overnight anchorage in Rothesay Bay.

Tuesday 3rd March

Guests spent a delightful morning cruising Loch Fyne, Britain’s longest sea loch.

In the afternoon we anchored off Crarae for the visit to Crarae Garden, a woodland paradise garden of rocky gorges, wooden bridges and thickets of maple, birch and evergreen.

We anchored overnight off Ardrishaig.

Wednesday 4th March

After sailing Loch Fyne to Portavadie, guests visited Tighnabruaich for an afternoon visit to the viewpoint overlooking the Kyles of Bute, or enjoyed walks around the marina at Portavadie.

We anchored overnight in Brodick Bay off the Isle of Arran.

Thursday 5th March

After breakfast, guests went ashore at Brodick, Isle of Arran for a tour and tasting at Lagg Distillery.

During the afternoon, guests enjoyed a scenic cruise of Loch Long and Loch Goil.

The farewell gala dinner was held at anchor off Greenock where we remained overnight.

Friday 6th March

Guests disembarked in Greenock this morning and were waved a fond farewell by the Captain and crew.
