Cruise the Sound of Mull. Tobermory, Mull – Isle of Mull Cheese.

Leaving Oban in our wake, we berth in Tobermory Bay where the picturesque capital of Mull is our afternoon port of call. Isle of Mull Cheese is the island’s only dairy farm, using traditional methods to produce artisan cheeses. Their newly-opened distillery uses by-products from the cheese making to produce a whey-based spirit.

Craignure, Mull – Visit to Iona. Oban – Walking tour & McCaig’s Tower.

Ashore on the sacred isle of Iona, take time to reflect on the influence of the religious colonists who landed here and established a seat of Christianity in 563, before discovering Oban on a walking tour which takes in the panoramic vistas from McCaig’s Tower at the top of Battery Hill. This impressive folly was built in 1897 by local banker John Stuart McCaig to provide work for local stonemasons.
