Colonsay – Colonsay House Gardens. Sail to Tiree.
Considered to have one of the finest rhododendron collections in Scotland, the woodland gardens of Colonsay House abound with many rare trees and shrubs, may from the southern hemisphere. Planted primarily during the 1930s, they consist of a formal garden area close to the Georgian manor house, and more informal woodland areas.

Hynish, Tiree – Skerryvore Lighthouse Museum. Coll – Walks ashore.
Tiree is home to the museum which tells the fascinating story of the hazardous construction of Scotland’s tallest lighthouse at Skerryvore, on one of Britain’s most dangerous rocks, over 10 nautical miles out to sea. Neighbouring Coll, a bird haven fringed by silver sand beaches, is the idyllic location for an exploration on foot or by bicycle.
