Inverness - Embarkation.
Wednesday 29th April
Inverness - Wildlife cruise to Chanonry Point. Cruise the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness to Fort Augustus.
Cruise out to Chanonry Point in the Moray Firth, home to around 200 dolphins which can often be seen at very close quarters, before sailing the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness to Fort Augustus where we berth overnight.

Cruise the Caledonian Canal and descend Neptune’s Staircase to Corpach. Corpach – Glenfinnan Viaduct Nature Trail.
Binoculars at the ready to spot birds of prey, red deer, herons and other wading birds as we sail the tranquil waters of the Caledonian Canal and descend the series of eight locks of Neptune’s Staircase. Later we take the Glenfinnan Viaduct Trail which passes through a range of habitats; keep an eye out for otter, dippers, red deer and raptors.

Sail Loch Linnhe and the Sound of Mull to Tobermory. Tobermory, Mull – Small boat trip to Lunga for puffin watching.
From Tobermory we take a small boat to the tiny Isle of Lunga in the Treshnish Isles to see the island’s famous colonies of puffins. Lunga is also a popular habitat to an ever-increasing number of guillemot, razorbill, kittiwake, fulmar, shag, great skua and a seal colony.

On Coll, a local ranger leads a wildlife walk to explore the outstanding wildlife and natural beauty of this picturesque bird haven, fringed by silver sand beaches.

Craignure, Mull – Sea eagle spotting. Oban – Seal boat trip.
Known as ‘eagle island’, Mull is home to white-tailed sea eagles and golden eagles and we go in search of these magnificent birds of prey. Finally, from Oban, we take a small boat trip round the north end of Kerrera to visit seals on their private island.

The spacious suite is located at the forward end of the John Buchan Deck and features large picture windows both port and starboard affording delightful views. The sitting area is furnished with a comfortable sofa, coffee table and mini bar.
