Cameras at the ready for our first visit to Eilean Donan Castle, the most photographed castle in Scotland. Trace the legacy of Clan Donald at the Museum of The Isles housed in the grounds of Armadale Castle.

Craignure, Mull – Visit to Iona. Craignure, Mull – Duart Castle.

Today we travel to the sacred isle of Iona to relish the tranquillity of the restored Benedictine abbey.

Duart Castle, seat of the Clan Maclean for over 700 years, proudly guards the sea cliffs on the Isle of Mull and was brought back from ruin in 1911.

Oban – Walking tour and McCaig’s Tower. Corpach – Glenfinnan Monument.

Embark on a walking tour of Oban which takes in the panoramic vistas from McCaig’s Tower.

At Glenfinnan, visit the iconic monument honouring the fallen Jacobite clansmen, framed by spectacular Highland scenery.

Transit Neptune’s Staircase and sail the Caledonian Canal to Fort Augustus.

From sea level, Lord of the Highlands ascends the spectacular eight interconnected locks of Neptune’s Staircase to Banavie, and we spend the day relaxing on board as we transit the length of the canal which connects the Great Glen’s four lochs.

Cruise the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness. Inverness – Cawdor Castle and Gardens.
