Inverness – Easter Sunday service in Inverness Cathedral or city walking tour. Cruise the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness to Fort Augustus
Explore Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands or take the opportunity to join the Easter Sunday service in the cathedral dedicated to the patron saint, Andrew.
Set sail along the Caledonian Canal, built between 1803 and 1822 to connect the Great Glen’s four lochs, and ascend the impressive series of locks which runs through Fort Augustus.

Cruise the Caledonian Canal and transit Neptune’s Staircase. Corpach – Glenfinnan Monument.
Continuing along the canal, we ascend to the highest point at Loch Oich and glide serenely through the picturesque tree-lined Laggan Avenue, before reaching Neptune’s Staircase. Overlooked by the magnificent Ben Nevis, this amazing feat of engineering descends the canal over 19 metres and is the longest lock staircase in Scotland.
At Glenfinnan we visit the iconic monument honouring the fallen Jacobite clansmen, framed by spectacular Highland scenery.
