Tuesday 17th to Tuesday 24th June 2025

Since the medieval period, music has been an integral part of Scottish culture. Join guest musician, composer and musical director Will Marshall, on this cruise with a harmonious flavour where enthralling visits are interspersed with musical interludes.

Tuesday 17th June

Guests embarked at Northern Lighthouse Pier this afternoon, after which we cruised to our overnight anchorage in Bloody Bay off the Isle of Mull. 

Wednesday 18th June

Our first port of call was Loch Scresort, Isle of Rum, for morning walks on the island.

After spending the afternoon cruising the Small Isles, the west coast of the isle of Skye and the Minch, we anchored overnight in East Loch Tarbert, Harris.

Thursday 19th June

Our island tour of Harris included Scarista beach, Rodel Church and a tweed weaving demonstration.

During lunch we sailed to the Shiant Isles where guests enjoyed small boat trips to see the bird life on the sea cliffs.

In the early evening we arrived and berthed alongside in Ullapool where, after dinner, Brian O’Headhra came be on board to perform with his wife Fionnag NicChoinnich.

We remained alongside Ullapool overnight.

Friday 20th June

This morning guests visited the box canyon of Corrieshalloch Gorge and Measach Falls.

Over lunch we cruised to the Summer Isles and landed on Isle Martin for afternoon walks on the island.

During dinner we arrived and berthed alongside in Lochinver and, after dinner, local musician Kim Richards came on board to perform with guest musician Will Marshall.

We remained alongside in Lochinver overnight.

Saturday 21st June

After breakfast, guests visited the Highland Stoneware Pottery, makers of unique quality pottery since 1974.

We spent the afternoon cruising Wester Ross and the Inner Sound on passage towards Gairloch we where welcomed local musician Ruairidh Gollan on board to perform after dinner.

Sunday 22nd June

Ashore at Gairloch, guests visited the Old Inn where Creative Connections are based, a collection of local artists and craftspeople where they were able to ‘Meet the Maker.’

During the afternoon cruise of the Inner Sound and Kyle Rhea, Will entertained guests and Bridge visits also took place.

We anchored overnight in Loch Scresort, Isle of Rum where the gala dinner was held.

Monday 23rd June

Morning walks ashore on the Isle of Eigg were enjoyed today.

On our final afternoon, we sailed to Tobermory, to visit the Isle of Mull Cheese Farm where handmade cheeses are made by hand using traditional methods.

After dinner, Norrie MacIver, the lead singer of Skipinnish entertained our guests.

Tuesday 24th June

Disembarkation was conducted after breakfast and we hope our guests have enjoyed this musical interlude and cruise exploring local heritage and culture.
