Tuesday 13th to Tuesday 20th May 2025
Experience the great wilderness of north west Scotland as we visit the seabird colonies of Handa Island and the Shiant Isles, make a beach landing to observe red der and go in search of seals on Skye.
Tuesday 13th May
Embarkation took place in Oban this afternoon and we set sail for our overnight anchorage in Bloody Bay.


Wednesday 14th May
First sop on our Hebridean wildlife safari was Kilmory Bay, Isle of Rum for a beach landing, where guests enjoyed walks along the beach and went in search of red deer.





During lunch we cruised into Loch Scavaig, Isle of Skye for afternoon walks at Loch Coruisk, keeping an eye out for seals and a variety of bird life.




We anchored overnight tonight in Loch Bracadale.
Thursday 15th May
Ashore at Dunvegan, Isle of Skye guests had the option to visit Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, or take a local boat to view the seal colony.


In the afternoon we arrived and berthed alongside in Lochmaddy, North Uist, where a coach transported guests to the Balranald Bird Reserve.


We anchored overnight off the Shiant Isles.
Friday 16th May
After breakfast, guests embarked on boat trips around the seabird cliffs of the Shiant Isles.






We spent the afternoon cruising The Minch on passage towards Lochinver where we berthed and remained alongside overnight.
Saturday 17th May
Our morning port of call was Handa Island, where a local boat collected the guests for wildlife walks on the island.






We spent the afternoon cruising the west coast of Scotland and the Inner sound on passage towards our overnight anchorage in Plockton.
Sunday 18th May
Sunday morning for walks ashore at Plockton were enjoyed before an afternoon cruising Loch Hourn and Loch Nevis on passage towards our overnight anchorage in Loch Scresort.




Monday 19th May
After morning walks ashore on the Isle of Canna, we cruised to Tobermory harbour, where a local boat took guests to Lunga to view the puffin colony.



The farewell gala dinner was held at anchor in Charlotte Bay off the Isle of Kerrera.

Tuesday 20th May
We sailed into Oban early this morning where disembarkation took place after breakfast.
