Oban - Embarkation.

Monday 7th October

Oban – Walking tour and McCaig’s Tower. Tobermory, Mull – Free time.

Discover Oban on a walking tour which takes in the panoramic vistas from McCaig’s Tower at the top of Battery Hill, ahead of our first island port of call, Mull, where you can wander at will through the colour-washed shops around the harbour of Tobermory.

Tuesday 8th October

Eigg – Walks ashore. Cruise the Sound of Sleat and Kyle Rhea to Kyle of Lochalsh.

The Small Isle of Eigg plays host to refreshing walks in this community owned nature reserve followed by a scenic steam through the Sound of Sleat and Kyle Rhea.

Kyle of Lochalsh – Eilean Donan Castle. Armadale, Skye – Armadale Castle & Museum of the Isles.

Today brings us to the Kyle of Lochalsh where Eilean Donan awaits. This iconic castle was built on an island where three sea lochs meet.

At Armadale on Skye, view the romantic ruins of the seat of Clan Donald and immerse yourself in their epic story at the Museum of the Isles.

Cruise the Sound of Mull to Craignure. Craignure, Mull – Duart Castle.

Breakfast to a backdrop of breathtaking scenery as we cruise around Ardnamuchan and the Sound of Mull to Craignure, where the dramatic setting of Duart Castle has been home to Clan Maclean chiefs for over 700 years.

Craignure, Mull – Visit to Iona. Oban – Walks on Kerrera.

Ashore on the sacred isle of Iona, take time to reflect on the influence of the religious colonists who landed here and established a seat of Christianity in 563. En route to Oban, we pause awhile on the tiny isle of Kerrera which guards the entrance to Oban Bay.
