Saturday 11th to Wednesday 15th 2023

The Kintyre peninsula lies to the west of the Clyde Islands, yet it is part of the mainland and protects the deep waters of the Clyde estuary. Explore some of the best-kept secrets of the unspoilt Argyll and Bute seaboard and the eclectic Mount Stuart House on the delightful Isle of Bute.

Saturday 11th November

Guests were piped on board at the Ocean terminal in Greenock and we set sail for our overnight anchorage in Brodick Bay.

Sunday 12th November

Guests enjoyed morning walks ashore on the Isle of Arran from Brodick.

The afternoon was spent cruising Loch Fyne on passage to our overnight anchorage at Strachur.

Monday 13th November

After a morning spent at anchor, guests were tendered ashore at Crarae for a guided tour of Inveraray Castle in the afternoon.

We anchored overnight in Rothesay, Isle of Bute.

Tuesday 14th November

This morning was spent discovering the delights of Mount Stuart House, Bute and the Victorian Toilets in Rothesay.

During lunch we sailed to Holy Loch for an afternoon visit to Benmore Botanic Garden.

We remained at anchor overnight in Holy Loch where the Farewell Gala Dinner was held.

Wednesday 15th November

Guests disembarked in Greenock after breakfast and we wish them a safe journey home. Haste ye back!
