28th July - Gems of the South Coast 1

Let Hebridean Princess transport you to the enchanting Lundy Island and Isles of Scilly before exploring the scenic South Coast of England.

Wednesday, 28th July.

Guests embarked this afternoon at Queen Alexandra dock in Cardiff and we remained alongside overnight.

Thursday, 29th July.

Guests visited the peaceful oasis of Dyffryn Gardens this morning from Cardiff before setting sail and spending the afternoon cruising on passage towards our overnight anchorage off Lundy Island.

Friday, 30th July.

After remaining at anchor for the morning, we spent the afternoon cruising round Land’s End and along the south coast of England, on passage towards our overnight anchorage tonight off Falmouth harbour. 

Saturday, 31st July.

We arrived and berthed alongside in Falmouth this morning, where guests disembarked for a walking tour of Truro City and visited the cathedral.

Following lunch on board, they visited the National Maritime Museum and enjoyed local walks with the guide.

We remained alongside overnight in Falmouth.

Sunday, 1st August.

This morning we arrived in Fowey for a guided walk before lunch.

In the afternoon guests discovered 200 acres of garden history, mystery and romance at the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Guests enjoyed cocktails on the deck today and a cake was served at dinner to belatedly celebrate two significant birthdays!

We arrived and berthed alongside in Plymouth overnight.

Monday, 2nd August.

Our morning visit was to the Mayflower Museum to explore the story of the voyage of the Pilgrims and their journey aboard the Mayflower to the New World. 

Following lunch on board, guests embarked on a leisurely tour around Dartmoor. 

We anchored overnight in Blackpool Sands off Dartmouth. 

Tuesday, 3rd August.

From Dartmouth guests disembarked for a ‘South Devon Panorama’ tour during the morning.

Guests visited Agatha Christie's former holiday home, Greenway House, by local ferry during the afternoon.

We anchored off Portland overnight. 

Wednesday, 4th August.

After breakfast guests disemabrked at the Britannia Passenger terminal in Portland where the Captain, Officers and crew waved them farewell.
