27th March - Hebridean Easter
This season's first cruise from Oban allows us to follow in the footsteps of St Columba, to experience the tranquility of the sacred isle of Iona, and its restored Benedictine Abbey on Easter Day, and discover the diversity of the idyllic inner isles.
Tuesday, 27th March.
Guests joined Hebridean Princess in Oban for embarkation and we set sail for our overnight anchorage in Loch Craignish.
Wednesday, 28th March.
This morning guests were tendered ashore at Ardfern Marina for a visit to Kilmartin Glen and Kilmartin House Museum to explore some of the 800 ancient monuments.
During lunch we cruised to Jura for afternoon walks to the village of Craighouse.
We anchored overnight at Tayvallich.
Thursday. 29th March.
From Port Ellen we landed on the Isle of Islay for visits to Ardbeg Distillery and Kildalton Cross.
In the afternoon we cruised past the Isle of Oronsay on passage to our overnight anchorage in West Loch Tarbert, Jura.
Friday, 30th March.
After breakfast guests enjoyed a beach landing at West Loch Tarbert on Jura.

During lunch on board we cruised to Colonsay to explore the woodland gardens of Colonsay House.
We anchored overnight in Charlotte Bay, Kerrera.
Saturday, 31st March.
This morning spent was relaxing on board as we cruised the Sound of Mull and the west coast of Mull, past Staffa with views of Fingal's Cave and Inch Kenneth on passage to Ulva.
We landed on the Isle of Ulva after lunch for a stretch of legs and to visit Sheila's Cottage.

We spent the night at anchor in Loch na Keal, Mull.
Sunday, 1st April.
This morning guests were offered the opportunity to join the Easter Sunday service at Iona Abbey.
Following our Easter Sunday lunch on board we berthed alongside at Tiree to visit the Skerryvore Lighthouse Museum.
We anchored overnight at Bunnessan, Isle of Mull.
Monday, 2nd April.
On the Isle of Mull we visited Ardalanish Weavers for a demonstration.
Our final overnight anchorage was off the Isle of Kerrera where guests enjoyed a champagne reception and Farewell Gala Dinner.
Tuesday, 3rd April.
Disembarkation took place at Northern Lighthouse Board Pier in Oban after breakfast.
