17th March - Inlets and Islands of Argyll
Bidding farewell to the islands of the Clyde, we uncover hidden secrets of the unspoilt Kintyre peninsula, before rounding the Mull of Kintyre en route to our home port of Oban.
Tuesday, 17th March.
When embarkation was complete we set sail from Greenock on passgage to our overnight anchorage in Holy Loch.
Wednesday, 18th March.
After a morning spent relaxing on board as we cruised East Kyle to the Kyles of Bute, Loch Striven and Lower Loch Fyne, guests went ashore at Tarbert, Loch Fyne, for walks ashore and to visit the ruined castle.
We anchored in Minard Bay overnight.
Thursday, 19th March.
This mornng we went ashore at Strachur and guests enjoyed a visit to Inveraray and the jail.
Pre lunch rum punch cocktails were served out on the Skye Deck.
After lunch we visited Portavadie for walks ashore.
We anchored overnight off Holy Isle.
Friday, 20th March.
This morning we landed on Sanda Island where guests explored the island and walked to the Ship Lighthouse.
We arrived and berthed alongside in Campbeltown for the afternoon visit to An Ceardach Garden.
We remained in Campbeltown overnight.
