13th July - West Coast Explorer

Join us on our maiden voyage of 2021 as we cruise from Cardiff, around Land’s End to Dorset’s Jurassic coast, via the magical Lundy Island and Isles of Scilly.

Tuesday, 13th July

Embarkation took place at Queen Alexandra Dock, Cardiff. When all guests were safely on board we set sail and anchored overnight at Blue Anchor Roads off Minehead. 

Wednesday, 14th July.

Guests spent a morning relaxing on board as we cruised the south coast of Wales to Pembroke for an afternoon panoramic tour which included St. David’s city.

Thursday, 15th July.

This morning, guests went ashore on Lundy Island for guided walks with the warden.

A leisurely afternoon was spent at anchorage at Lundy Island where we remained through dinner before sailing overnight to the Isles of Scilly.

Friday, 16th July.

Guests awoke this morning anchored off the Isles of Scilly and went ashore on Tresco after breakfast where they explored Tresco Abbey Gardens.

After lunch, a local boat took guests to St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly where they went for guided walks.

Saturday, 17th July.

This morning was spent at sea, cruising  the South Coast of England on passage towards Falmouth, where we arrived in the afternoon and guests enjoyed a guided walk in Truro which included a visit to the cathedral.

We remained in Falmouth overnight.

Sunday, 18th July.

From Falmouth, guests visited Trebah Gardens this morning.

We spent the afternoon cruising the South coast of Cornwall on passage towards Fowey.  

Monday, 19th July.

Guests visited Lost Gardens of Heligan this morning from Fowey.

After lunch, we set sail along the coast of Devon on passage towards Dartmouth, where we tied up to the buoys on the River Dart and remained overnight.

Tuesday, 20th July.

After a morning panoramic tour of South Devon, after lunch guests took the local ferry to visit Greenway House, the former holiday home of Agatha Christie. 


We anchored overnight off Portland.
