Crossing the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man, we arrive at the west coast port of Peel. After exploring Tynwald Hill, a distinctive landmark and signal of the island’s independence, we venture to the 1200 AD Castle Rushen, reputed to be one of the best-preserved medieval castles in the world.

Douglas – New Tynwald Building. Cruise the Northern Irish coast.

The Old House of Keys is the former home of the Manx Parliament and here we learn of the 19th century political life on the Isle of Man, before visiting the petrolhead’s paradise of the Motor Museum and the new Tynwald building, home to the world’s oldest continuous parliament.
