Coronation Cruise
Celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III on board Hebridean Princess.
The Coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on Saturday 6th May, 2023 at Westminster Abbey, London, and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury. The Ceremony will see His Majesty King Charles III crowned alongside The Queen Consort, Camilla.
Coronation day falls during our first walking cruise of the year, Footloose through the Inner Sound, which departs from Oban on Tuesday 2nd May.
This cruise offers a tantalising blend of energising walks and fascinating visits to suit every taste. The diverse landscapes of the Small Isles and Skye contrast with the mainland gems of Gairloch and Shieldaig on this Footloose escape of peaceful seclusion.
There will be the opportunity to watch the ceremony on the large screen in the Tiree Lounge, suitably festooned for the occasion, whilst enjoying English sparkling wine and Windsor Great Park Pink Gin Cocktails.
On the following day, guests will take part in the Coronation Big Lunch on board, a nationwide act of celebration and friendship inviting you to share food and fun. Weather permitting, this could be a ‘deck party’ on the Skye Deck with tasty treats provided by our talented brigade of chefs.
Why not join like-minded people to come together and celebrate this historic occasion, whilst escaping to the remote, enchanting waters off Scotland’s west coast, a favourite holiday destination of HM the late Queen Elizabeth II and other members of the Royal Family.
