Hebridean Island Cruises, owners of the small cruise ship Hebridean Princess, has announced the launch of a new River Cruises programme on board Hebridean’s Royal Crown river ship.
Having undergone an extensive renovation in 2010, the luxurious cruiser will sail on the Rhine and Danube rivers during the spring and autumn of 2012 operating four 7 night itineraries.
Harking back to the golden age of cruising, with an opulent feel of 1930’s Europe, Hebridean River Cruises will offer 79 guests elegant surroundings, together with the same personal service they would expect when sailing on Hebridean Princess. With 42 Art Deco style cabins a number have been dedicated to single occupancy.
All Hebridean River Cruises are fully inclusive, including alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, shore tours, taxes and gratuities, a guest speaker programme and return travel to and from the UK. Accompanied by Hebridean Island Cruises’ experts, Hebridean’s Royal Crown provides the highest degree of comfort and offers a luxurious lounge, a fine dining restaurant, library, sundeck with bar, personal concierge and a choice of suites across three grades; Royal Suites, Premium Suites and Deluxe Suites.
Colin Stone, Managing Director, Swan Hellenic & Hebridean Island Cruises commented: “Hebridean Princess has enjoyed high occupancy levels throughout the year and from guest feedback received we are certain that our customers will be delighted by the option to cruise throughout Europe. Hebridean River Cruises compliments Hebridean Princess in terms of quality, grandeur and atmosphere and we look forward to welcoming guests on board next year.”
