Each all-inclusive cruise is carefully planned by our own highly experienced researchers, whose brief is to capture the cultural essence and historical significance of each port of call.
2013 will be another momentous occasion for the company as we celebrate the “Silver Anniversary” of Hebridean Princess when she embarks on her 25th cruising season. It was in May 1989 that Hebridean Princess first set sail in her now very familiar blue and white livery, providing guests on her inaugural cruise, with the same attentive service and attention to detail which is now synonymous with Hebridean Island Cruises.
Throughout this very special season Hebridean Princess will undertake three of her inaugural cruises, replicating the itineraries as closely as possible to those sailed 25 years ago:
A myriad of new cruises will also be available in 2013, including four wonderful Footloose walking itineraries amongst the twenty-one new routes available along with many old favourites which still feature throughout the season.
In 2014 Many familiar favourites return with new and improved cruises at the beginning and end of the season from Greenock combine favourable tariffs with the possibility of snow peaked mountains, spring flowers and autumn colours. During the summer months we will be making a welcome return to the far flung islands of St Kilda, Orkney and Shetland.
For the first time in five years we will once again be spreading our wings and sailing north to Norway for three cruises, the ever popular Footloose in the Fjords returns along with Majestic Sognefjord and Island Kingdoms of the Vikings. Flights between the UK and Norway are included in the tariff.
River cruising in 2013
2013 sees the launch of the second season of Hebridean River Cruises on the great rivers of Europe on board Hebridean’s Royal Crown.
A Choice of Rivers - Owing to the popularity of the 2012 river cruises programme we have increased the number of sailings from four to five in 2013 to include the Main and the Rhine-Main-Danube canal in addition to the Rhine and Danube rivers.
Having undergone an extensive renovation in 2010, the luxurious river boat will cruise on the Rhine-Main-Danube canal and on the Rhine and Danube rivers during the spring and autumn of 2013 operating five 7-night itineraries.
