18th April - Springtime Surprise

Join us on this spring surprise cruise as Captain Trevor Bailey decides the itinerary on a daily basis, taking you to some of his favourite destinations.  Although the itinerary is unknown you will be assured of our excellent service, exquisite cuisine and the understated elegance of Hebridean Princess.

18th April 2017

We set sail from Oban with a sense of anticipation and arrived at our overnight anchorage in Loch a’Choire.  

19th April 2017

Our first mystery port of call was Fort William where guests disembarked for a visit to Glenfinnan to view the monument and viaduct where the steam train also made an appearance.

Following lunch on board, the Glencoe Visitor Centre was our afternoon destination.

20th April 2017

The second morning of our surprise cruise was spent cruising south on passage to the Isle of Gigha where guests could visit the gardens of Achamore House or explore independently.  Spring colours were in abundance at the gardens where we were welcomed by a beautiful peacock.

When all guests were safely back on board we set sail for our overnight anchorage off Bangor, Northern Ireland.

21st April 2017

After a morning cruising the Irish Sea, we arrived and berthed alongside in Douglas, Isle of Man in the afternoon where guests visited the Laxey Wheel via the Horse Tram and Electric Tram.

We remained alongside in Douglas overnight.

22nd April 2017

We spent this tomorrow morning cruising on passage towards Northern Ireland, the next stop on our mystery cruise. We berthed alongside in Larne in the afternoon for a visit to the Titanic Belfast Exhibition.

23rd April 2017

During the morning guests relaxed on board as we sailed north on passage towards the Isle of Islay for a tour of the Kilchoman Distillery for a tour and tasting.

We berthed alongside overnight in Port Ellen, Islay overnight.

24th April 2017

Following a morning cruise through the Sound of Jura and the Sound of Luing we arrived in Oban for anafternoon visit to Dunstaffnage Castle and the Ocean Explorer Centre.

We remained alongside in Oban overnight.

25th April 2017

Embarkation took place in Oban after breakfast and we hope that all our guests enjoyed their surprise cruise.
