We have also been one of the few ships granted permission to visit the beautiful Aldabra islands; the world's largest raised coral atoll. Nature lovers will be enchanted by the shimmering forests of Madagascar and its panoply of wildlife. Hebridean Spirit spends the spring, late summer and autumn in the warm waters of the Mediterranean, visiting small Greek, Italian, Croatian and Sicilian islands, their mainlands, and Spain, Minorca, Mallorca, Libya, Cyprus, Tunisia, Turkey, Malta and Sardinia. Passing through the Straits of Gibraltar in September, we visit Marina Smir and the Moorish refuge of Chefchaouen. Seeking out the less-visited and picturesque corners of this historic region, enjoy the Mediterranean at its best on board Hebridean Spirit.

Hebridean Princess sets sail from Oban for the ethereal coastline of Scotland's Western Isles and beyond from March to mid-November. A regular sight in the waters of the west coast, her varied itineraries include the Footloose selection, offering a rare chance to enjoy guided walks in some of the most remote and beautiful places in the British Isles. There is simply no better way of exploring the Scottish coast then aboard Hebridean Princess.

Our summer 2008 season again starts in the Atlantic Ocean and a visit to the Azores. This wonderful volcanic archipelago is well known for its whale and dolphin sightings, bur less so for its historic and strategic significance. This footloose cruise will allow guests to unearth the beating heart of the Azores as we learn of the islands importance to the Portuguese Empire between the 15th and 19th centuries, when ships returned from the West Indies and India bearing gold, silver and spices. Next we head east to the Portuguese capital of Lisbon before entering the Mediterranean on 26th April.

Each November Hebridean Princess takes guests on a tour of the English Channel coastline from the Jurassic coast of Devon to Tower Bridge in London. There is no better finale to her cruise season with tours of the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, Osborne House in Cowes and Leeds Castle. Plus a private tour of Minterne House and Gardens with lunch hosted by Lord and Lady Digby.

In July 2007, three of her cruises take passengers on a voyage through Norway's spectacular fjords. Sculpted by glaciers creating narrow plunging U-shaped valleys, the Norwegian Fjords are among nature’s greatest wonders.

Hebridean Spirit’s Black Sea cruises continue to grow in popularity and in 2008 we have even more dazzling destinations to visit. Guests will tour the architectural wonders which define the region and unearth fascinating cultural and historic gems. From Istanbul we sail east to Sinop before turning north to the Russian town of Sochi. Following the coast we visit Yalta before reaching Sevastopol, Odessa and Varna.
