Craobh Haven and Crinan
From Craobh Haven take the trip to the delightful Arduaine Garden, a
plantsman’s paradise on the Argyll coast, followed by a stroll along the
famous Crinan Canal. Captain’s Welcome Gala Dinner in the evening.
Saturday 2nd October
Loch na Mile on Jura and Loch Sween
Enjoy the wilderness and wildlife haven of Jura and take stunning walks
on this peaceful island. After lunch, walks at Tayvallich on Loch Sween.
Sunday 3rd October
Gigha and Port Ellen on Islay
At the exquisitely verdant island of Gigha experience Achamore House
gardens. In the afternoon we go ashore at Islay for a visit to Bowmore
Distillery.
Monday 4th October
Colonsay and Kerrera
Explore the exotic woodland gardens of Colonsay House, set against
dramatically varied landscape. In the afternoon stroll around tiny,
fertile Kerrera.
Tuesday 5th October
Iona, Staffa and Ulva
Experience this revered place of pilgrimage with a trip to Iona Abbey
or take a walk to the stunning ‘Bay at the Back of the Ocean’. After
cruising past Staffa, site of Fingal’s Cave, visit Sheila’s Cottage Museum
on Ulva.
Wednesday 6th October
Tobermory and Craignure on Mull
Take in the colourful waterfront of beautiful Tobermory with time
ashore to enjoy a stroll or shopping. From Craignure visit Torosay
Castle followed by a champagne reception at Duart Castle. Farewell
Gala Dinner in the evening.
Thursday 7th October
Oban
Disembarkation in Oban.
