Take a trip to 18th century Ardgowan House set in 400 tranquil acres
before setting sail from the charming village of Fairlie and cruising the
stunning waters of Loch Fyne, famous for its oysters and other fine
seafood. Captain’s Welcome Cocktail Party in the evening.
Wednesday 3rd March
Inveraray and Crarae
At the eastern tip of Loch Fyne, explore beautiful Inveraray and the
castle grounds, and experience the historic Inveraray Jail. In the
afternoon visit Crarae Gardens, 50 acres of woodland garden in a
dramatic setting.
Thursday 4th March
Rothesay on Bute and Cumbrae Islands
Early morning cruise through the Kyles of Bute on the way to Rothesay.
From Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, the ancient stronghold of Scottish
kings, see Mount Stuart, one of Britain’s most astounding Victorian
gothic mansions set in 300 acres of vibrant gardens. After arriving at
the Cumbrae Islands, we shall visit one of Britain’s smallest cathedrals,‘The Cathedral of the Isles’.
Friday 5th March
Holy Loch, Loch Long and Loch Goil
Explore the unforgettable Benmore Botanical Gardens with its
stunning mountain backdrop before rejoining Hebridean Princess for a
scenic cruise of Loch Long and Loch Goil. Enjoy a Farewell Gala Dinner
in the evening.
