Fort William and Lismore
Take a morning trip from Fort William to the towering might of
Aonach Mor for some spectacular walking terrain or take a gondola up
Aonach Mor. After lunch cruise back along Loch Linnhe to the island of
Lismore for walks ashore and a possible visit to the Heritage Centre.
Captain’s Welcome Cocktail Party in the evening.
Tuesday 19th October
Craobh Haven and Crinan
From Craobh Haven visit the plantsman’s paradise of Arduaine Garden,
perched high on the windswept Argyll coast and lovingly maintained
by the National Trust for Scotland. In the afternoon at Crinan enjoy the
towpath walks alongside the famous canal.
Wednesday 20th October
Port Ellen on Islay and Craighouse on Jura
Enjoy a visit to Ardbeg Distillery, ‘the ultimate single Islay malt Scotch
whisky’ and perhaps, the most peaty malt whisky in the world. On the
island of Jura take the superb walk to Craighouse, its main village.
Farewell Gala Dinner in the evening.
