Day One
Embarkation in Scrabster, Caithness. Overnight berth.
Day Two
Morning – visit to the Castle of Mey and gardens. Afternoon – cruising the Pentland Firth and the east coast of Orkney to Kirkwall, Mainland. Late afternoon – walks at Kirkwall before dinner. Captain’s Welcome Gala Dinner. Overnight berth.
Day Three
Morning – walks on Stronsay. Afternoon – walks on Westray. Overnight berth in Stromness.
Day Four
Morning – tour of Mainland including the UNESCO World Heritage prehistoric sites of Maes Howe and Skara Brae, passing the Ring of Brodgar. Afternoon – cruising past the Old Man of Hoy and round Cape Wrath. Overnight anchorage.
Day Five
Morning – visit by small boat to Kerrachar Gardens, Kylesku, Sutherland, cruising onwards to the Summer Isles. Afternoon – visit to Tanera Mor, for a walk to the summit of Meall Mor or strolls, calling at the private post office. Overnight anchorage.
Day Six
Morning – visit to Inverewe Gardens or walks from Gairloch pier, cruising afterwards to Portree, Skye. Afternoon – strolls at Portree, cruising south to the Sound of Sleat. Overnight anchorage.
Day Seven
Morning – walks on Muck, visiting the tearoom at Port Mor. Afternoon – walks on Coll, cruising afterwards into the Sound of Mull. Farewell Gala Dinner. Overnight anchorage.
Day Eight
Disembarkation in Oban.
