Day One
Embarkation in Oban. Overnight anchorage.
Day Two
Early morning cruise to Coll. Morning – beach landing on Crossapol beach with a dunes walk on Coll. Afternoon – sailing to the Treshnish Isles for an island cruise, landing on Lunga if the weather permits. Captain’s Welcome Gala Dinner. Overnight anchorage.
Day Three
Morning cruise over the Sea of the Hebrides to Castlebay, Barra. Walkers on an afternoon walk on Barra or Vatersay. Strollers on a tour of Barra including the beach airport. Overnight berth at Castlebay.
Day Four
Early morning cruise to Eriskay. Walkers on the Uists in the morning with Benbecula or North Uist in the afternoon. Strollers on a tour of Eriskay and South Uist, perhaps including Tobha Mor and Flora MacDonald’s birthplace at Milton, continuing to North Uist. A buffet lunch ashore for all, re-joining the ship in Loch Maddy mid- to late-afternoon. Overnight anchorage.
Day Five
Walkers on foot in the remote Hushinish, North Harris with lunch ashore. Strollers on a mini-bus tour of Harris including the beaches and a weaving demonstration at Plocrapool with lunch ashore. Overnight anchorage.
Day Six
Early morning cruise over the Little Minch to Uig, Skye. Walkers on walks in northern Skye and an afternoon walk in the Trotternish Peninsula, re-joining the ship at Portree. Strollers on a tour of Trotternish including the memorial to Flora MacDonald at Kilmuir Cemetery. Afternoon to mid-afternoon – scenic cruise of the Skye coast to Portree. Mid-afternoon – walks and strolls for all at Portree, cruising onwards through the Kyle of Lochalsh to the Sound of Sleat. Overnight anchorage
Day Seven
Early morning cruise into Loch Nevis for Inverie, Knoydart for morning walks. Afternoon walks and strolls on Muck, cruising onwards to the Sound of Mull. Farewell Gala Dinner. Overnight anchorage.
Day Eight
Disembarkation in Oban.
