Embarkation in Oban.
Friday 13th August
Loch na Mile on Jura and Colonsay
On Jura take a walk to Craighouse before sailing onwards to Colonsay
and a visit to Colonsay House Gardens or perhaps a relaxing stroll or
bike ride. Captain’s Welcome Gala Dinner in the evening.
Saturday 14th August
Iona, Staffa and Tiree
In the morning choose either a visit to wonderful Iona Abbey or a walk
to the ‘Bay at the Back of the Ocean’ before cruising past Staffa, site
of Fingal’s Cave, for spectacular walks on Tiree.
Sunday 15th August
Muck and Castlebay on Barra
Enjoy strolls ashore on the wildflower-strewn Isle of Muck before sailing
the Sea of the Hebrides for Barra.
Monday 16th August
Barra and Eriskay
Take a coach tour of Barra, including its unusual beach airport, or a visit
to Kisimul Castle. After lunch take a stroll ashore on hilly Eriskay.
Tuesday 17th August
Canna and Rum
Experience the stunning landscape of the National Trust island and
bird sanctuary on Canna before enjoying walks ashore on Rum or a
visit to Kinloch Castle.
Wednesday 18th August
At sea – whale and dolphin watching
A fascinating day at sea spent with representatives
of the Hebridean Whale & Dolphin Trust who will
give a presentation of their work whilst identifying
any whale and dolphin sightings made cruising the
Small Isles. Farewell Gala Dinner in the evening.
Thursday 19th August
Oban
Disembarkation in Oban.
