HEBRIDEAN SPIRIT CRUISE CALENDAR
Summer & Autumn 2008
This season is one of our most exciting and fascinating summer programmes yet and includes a collection of Footloose walking itineraries – a first for Hebridean Spirit.
Starting in April our first destination is the Azores before we skirt the Portuguese, Spanish and French coastlines on route to Monaco and the ever popular F1 Grand Prix! Italy is our next destination before exploring Corsica and Sardinia, Malta, and Sicily. Then on to Greece, where among other delights we discover the lava fields of Mount Etna, the sacred site of Delphi, the palace of the mythical Minotaur and ancient Perge. Two excellent cruises in the Black Sea follow before returning to the Aegean and onto the Dalmatian coast to visit historic but often troubled Croatia then north to Venice. Two further footloose cruises later and Hebridean Spirit will navigate the Suez Canal into the Red Sea and the wonders of Egypt.
Winter & Spring 2008 / 2009
This season's programme is designed to let you follow the sun south to take in the incredible natural beauty of South Africa and the sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean. Along the way we'll be stopping off at the Seychelles, Madagascar, Mozambique, Mauritius, Reunion and Namibia. As Hebridean Spirit sails among the islands of the Seychelles you will have the opportunity to explore deserted beaches and snorkel in crystal clear waters in almost total seclusion. We have also been granted permission to visit Aldabra, the worlds largest raised Coral atoll, a privilege granted to very few. Nature lovers will be enchanted by the shimmering forests of Madagascar and its panoply of wildlife. Take one of our private tours and you may see anything from lemurs and sifakas to baobabs and octopus trees. As Hebridean Spirit sails around the coast of Africa you'll have even more opportunities to see wildlife up close in its natural habitat. From a trip to the famous elephant reserve at Addo to watching seals and pelicans at Walvis Bay in Namibia, you can revel in the experiences on offer. You may wish to enhance your holiday with a land-based extension. Our tours and indulgent hotels are available on most of our itineraries. You will have the opportunity to go on safari at the wilderness reserve, explore South Africa's historic battlefields from two carefully chosen lodges in KwaZulu-Natal or if you prefer to indulge yourself and stay in an exceptional hotel or resort in Cape Town, the Cape Winelands or Franschoek, Mauritius or Mahe.
